ETH is an acronym for Education To Home
for bringing education to millions of learners transcending the
barriers of geographies, economic levels and languages. The
underlying theme is Freedom to Learn wherever you are. ETH leverages
the power of Information and Communication Technologies, to achieve
its mission. The theme ‘Freedom’ has now been extended and covers
‘Freedom to Learn’, ‘Freedom to Innovate’, ‘Freedom to Develop’ and
‘Freedom to Operate’. ETH is about freedom and it is expressed in
its creations, organization culture and its empowerment process.
‘Freedom to Learn’ is our main theme
and towards this we have developed tools, techniques, courses and
programs that will allow aspiring learners to get desired education
from anywhere.
Innovation has been the life spring of ETH right from its inception
and it is reflected in its logo, website, programs, products and
services, so much so that it will like to promote the theme of
innovation everywhere, in education, institutions and enterprises.
For this it has architected an Innovation Portal to bring
‘Freedom
to Innovate’.
For software development particularly during the current recession
times, it has evolved an innovative approach called
‘Freedom to Develop’, that allows rapid
software development with quality, yet at highly affordable cost.
Further, leveraging upon its experience in developing, operating and
supporting telecom technologies, particularly mobile technologies,
ETH is bringing forth the theme of
‘Freedom
to Operate’ using the power of mobile devices and
technologies.
An ISO 9001:2000 certified lab, ETH strives to nurture innovation,
yet delivering quality in its creations and services, education
programs, software development and support services.
The word ‘ETH’ was ideated by its Group Chairman Mr. C Sivasankaran,
an innovative serial entrepreneur, a harbinger of PC, Mobile and
Broadband revolutions in India. ETH Research Lab is led by Dr. Vijay
P. Bhatkar, the Father of Indian Supercomputers and an acclaimed ICT
leader, who is architecting the programs of ETH Research Lab. |
